Painter for interior and exterior painting

A good paint job depends on the preparation. We fill, sand and prime first, and only then paint: two coats, clean lines at the ceiling and skirting, and a site left tidy.

Interior painting: walls, ceilings and woodwork

We paint living rooms, bedrooms, halls and stairwells, in occupied homes and new builds. Ceilings in matt white, walls in the colour you choose, and doors, wardrobes and skirting in a hard-wearing satin.

In kitchens, bathrooms and toilets we use a washable paint that stands up to moisture and stains.

Exterior painting and façades

Painting a façade needs a dry surface and the right product: a breathable masonry paint on brick or render, a gloss on wooden frames. We clean, repair cracks and prime where needed.

If your façade needs more than paint, such as insulation or new render, we look at it together with our façade insulation service.

How we work

We protect first: floors under board, furniture and windows under film, edges taped. Then filling, sanding and primer where the surface needs it, followed by two finishing coats.

Corners and joints are sealed with acrylic caulk so hairline cracks do not come back between wall and ceiling. We clean up and walk through the result with you.

Frequently asked questions

How much does a painter cost per m²?

It depends mostly on the state of the walls: a wall that only changes colour needs far less work than a cracked one. That is why we visit first. You get a written quote room by room.

Do I have to move my furniture?

It helps if you put away small and fragile items. Large furniture is moved to the middle of the room and covered.

How many coats do you apply?

Two finishing coats, after a primer where the surface needs it: new plaster, drywall, repaired areas or a strong change of colour.

Is VAT 6 % or 21 %?

For a home older than ten years used as a residence, VAT is normally 6 %. For new builds and commercial premises it is 21 %.

Your home deserves more than just any contractor.
