Bathroom renovation, from demolition to finishing
Renovating a bathroom means six trades in a small room: demolition, plumbing, waterproofing, tiling, sanitaryware and finishing. We do them with one team and one schedule, so you do not have to coordinate five contractors yourself.

What a bathroom renovation involves
We start with the demolition: old tiles, bath or shower tray, sanitaryware and, if needed, the screed. Then the water and drainage pipes go to their new position, and the walls are straightened with drywall or plaster.
Next comes the work you will never see again but that decides everything: the waterproofing. In the shower zone and on the floor we fit a membrane or a liquid system, with corner tapes and collars around the drains. Only then do we tile, fit the sanitaryware and paint the ceiling.
- Demolition and removal of the old bathroom
- New pipes and drains
- Drywall, plaster and waterproofing
- Floor and wall tiles, large format included
- Sanitaryware, taps and shower screen
- Ceiling and woodwork painted
Walk-in shower or shower tray
A walk-in shower needs a screed sloping towards a channel or point drain, with the waterproofing underneath and turned up the walls. It is more work than fitting a tray, but the floor stays flat, with no step.
A shower tray is quicker to fit and simpler to maintain. We look together at what your floor build-up allows: in an apartment, the height of the drain is often the deciding factor.
How we work
At the visit we measure the room and check the pipes, the drain and the floor height. You get a quote item by item: demolition, structural work, waterproofing, tiling, sanitaryware and finishing, with a start and end date.
During the works we protect the passage and the other rooms, and the rest of the home stays habitable. You choose tiles and sanitaryware from your supplier or ours; we check beforehand that they suit the use.

Frequently asked questions
How much does a bathroom renovation cost?
It depends on the surface, on what has to be moved (drains and pipes), on the choice between a walk-in shower and a tray, and on the sanitaryware and tiles you choose. That is why we visit first. You get a written quote item by item, with no surprises.
How long does it take?
Allow two to four weeks for a full renovation, depending on the drying times of screed, plaster and waterproofing. The schedule is in the quote.
Can I buy my own tiles and sanitaryware?
Yes. You choose at your supplier, we fit. We check beforehand that the tiles suit a wet room and that the sanitaryware matches the existing connections.
Is VAT 6 % or 21 %?
For a home older than ten years used as a residence, VAT is normally 6 % on the labour and on the materials we supply. For new builds it is 21 %. We ask for the year of construction with your request.
